• imagina rita payes; i used to blast a rita and nothing else on repeat for a really long time and i finally listened to the whole album and it is So good. favorite tracks a rita (still, lol), porque llorax blanca nina, and if the moon turns green

reading:

• friend B linked this article on Neil Gaiman in a shared server. it's really fucking long but I found it a fascinating read. I knew he was raised in scientology but Oh Boy.
• the fish, a poem by elizabeth bishop. there was a ragebait-type NYT quiz about whether or not people preferred AI to human written content and the poetry was the only one I chose AI on. and it turns out that was only because the NYT article didn't preserve the fucking formatting. what kind of animal takes a poem like this and then smooshes all the line breaks together. smfh.

watching:

• jenny nicholson videos! watched the new one on the incubus, fun. then the vampire diaries one.
• misc youtube videos. swell entertainment, etc type of people

playing:

• tuesday night last week (so technically theoretically last tuesdaypost, but that post was done, whatever) danielle and i built a big ol penis in the minecraft server for aleksey as a birthday present! he said he needed bones and cherry wood and by god did we provide.
• wednesday night MORE mtg. wow. many cards. it was for aleksey's birthday, cw baked him a legally distinct brownie (chocolate gateaux), drafted dill cube...good times all around. i actually kind of drafted a banger deck that probably would have done really well against literally any other group of people hahah
• a lot of crossplay

making:

• speed painted some little cave paintings onto this mug. i agonized over the exact cave paintings to put on it for like months and then i was like. this is stupid. be decisive and it will come out fine. and it did

• trimmed jar for mom, made top look like acorn

• had a collage night with some friends! made this postcard to mail to erin, and then finally sent out one of my postcrossing assignments. i still haven't received any back. oh well

eating:

• a lot of very yummy korean food that my boyfriend made me when he was visiting last week. otherwise i would have been in frozen food mode so i am very grateful for this.
