thegreatratsbybrief-ish one just to get back into the swing of things. there are many things I have forgotten in here probably.
as per previous tumblr post, many ups and downs to contribute to the tuesdaypost sabbatical: phone broke just before 14 hour road trip (bad but road trip went fine, but also means that i lost recordings of my dead grandmother), week in maine on vacation (good), grandma died (quite bad but inevitable)

was outside Portland House of Music when we were there for a few days and there was a show going on and I was intrigued and we ALMOST went in but decided not to because the show was already half over at that point but I did look up the band: Gina and the Red Eye Flight Crew, really really good, wish I'd known about it beforehand and we could have planned to go
new bear ghost album! it's okay! not sure if I am compelled to purchase it yet or not. favorite tracks: Sirens, Big Town Banky Blaine's Rockabilly Bbq also pretty good
also got my music library files allllll organized and tagged correctly :-) so many gigabytes lol

Walsh): gang we are cooked. sometimes I feel like an insane person compared to some other people I know because I'm not using LLMs to write the parts of my thesis that I am finding challenging because . the act of writing them even though they are challenging is the Whole Fucking Point. whatever.

a lot of good (but $$$) food in Maine but otherwise kinda fallow...oh really yummy meal after bf's mom's graduation. tofu soup with tripe and marinated raw crab and many other things.
